GrizzLee, founder of RubiKon Adventures, was born in Wyoming. At age five he began riding motorcycles; by age seven, competing in BMX and motorcycle events.
He earned multiple undergraduate/graduate degrees in Mechanical and Aerospace engineering.  He had a rewarding 35-year Aerospace career. Now retired, he pursues his true passions of remote travel, geology and human history; promoting a deep respect for wild places and cultures. His self-funded expeditions into the remote north include paddling rivers, exploring the tundra, mountaineering and foraging treks into little-traveled coastal mountains.
